Sir? Would you mind moving? A billionaire wants to sit down.

Personal Subway Announcements

Do you ever feel like people aren't paying attention to you?  Like they don't have your best interests at heart?

Well, someone captured a video of a very rare occurrence: A New York City public transit employee going out of her way to make sure everyone on the wrong platform knew the trains were not in service.  He then went through the trouble of posting the video on the web for everyone to appreciate this unique event.

Yes, the way she went about it was kind of funny, but you have to absolutely HEART this woman for giving it her all to communicate with these people.  Most MTA employees would happily let that bearded dude in the red shirt sit on a bench until 5am in the morning.  That's how the MTA rolls.

But wouldn't it be great if all subway announcements were like this?

"Hey you!  You with the mustache!  This is your stop!  You!  The guy that failed out of law school and is flying back to Wisconsin to live with your parents after having been defeated by big city life!  You have to transfer to the A train here if you want to get to JFK!"
