I love you all and I have some extra time today (because all of today's posts were obviously half-assed), so let's review…
You see these?
Those are all videos we've posted before.
Our policy for Fan Favorites is NO REPOSTS. I'm not ignoring you; you're ignoring our rules!
So instead, I am forced to go with this suggestion…
It's never been suggested before. Probably because no one likes it.
This happened to me last week actually…
I was filming the rain …like I always do …BECAUSE THAT'S SUCH A PERFECTLY NORMAL THING TO FILM.
Oh, and I had left the fucking door open. Did I mention that? Because I wanted rain to get into my house. Because after I film the rain, sometimes I forget that it had been raining, so I like to have rain water all over my floor to remind me.
And then after a giant lightning strike, I was like, "I should close this door." But then I didn't close it. Because I am an idiot who deserves to be hit by lightning.
This dude ran outside into a thunderstorm to flex his muscles for the camera. Then he almost got hit by lightning. Totally worth it!
His annoying wife freaks out: "INSIDE! INSIDE! INSIDE!" But the dude who was flexing in his white boardshorts should know better. He was safe now. Lightning never strikes the same douche bag twice.
I'm not a statistician or anything, but I think this somehow increases his odds of winning the lottery.
In fact, this video is all about odds. It's rare for lightning to strike near you. It's even rarer to catch that on video. But when both of those things happen together, it will find its way onto the internet.
The lesson: If you want to get a viral video on CollegeHumor, next time there's a thunderstorm, play some golf. Just don't forget to videotape the whole thing.
