Seriously, HuffPo?

Take a few guesses what articles are popular on The Huffington Post right now?

If you included "The Most Ridiculous Rap Lyrics of All Time" on your list, take a well-deserved bow.

Yup, the left-leaning news website has sunk to what may be a new low by tackling the most important of liberal issues: "How far can we capitalize off of white guilt?"

Apparently, helping to propel Obama into power wasn't enough.  They also want to be in charge of determining whether Chingy's lyrics were more ridiculous than Young Jeezy's.

Soon to be surging on Drudge Report: "The World's Worst Line Dances."

Joe Wilson Outburst Spurs Maturity

The Moment, remixed

The fact that you're alive indicates to me that you're aware of President Obama's speech Wednesday evening. Senator Joe Wilson interrupted with a "You lie!" outburst, a controversial move being dubbed "The Moment."

While conservatives flame comment boards and rudely push their piggish ideals, I'm happy to say that liberals have taken the high road. They've created civil, productive works of art to express how they feel (above). They've added valuable, pertinent information to the discourse like Joe Wilson's phone number (202-225-2452) and his website — which is down at the moment, his servers overwhelmed by constructive liberal criticism. Some health care reform supporters are even going so highbrow as to solicit donations… for Rob Miller, Joe Wilson's opponent next year (go here). All the fun is being had at BuzzFeed.

[image via Scott Lamb] – Unclaimed Domain Name of the Week

Arianna Huffington

This week's unclaimed domain:

I don't care if it has 22 million visitors and more backlinks than anyone. I don't care if Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have written there. I've had enough of the Huffington Post.

Here are some potential concepts for

  • A mock-up of the Huffington Post homepage style that actually links to Drudge Report items instead.
  • A single-serving site that randomly redirects you to a print newspaper subscription order form.
  • A J.Lo movie fan site.
  • Or, just buy it and forward it to the Tosh.0 Blog.

Last week, I cheated. The unclaimed domain name was just too good. I couldn't let it enter the hands of some traffic-hoarding fool. So, I posted the unclaimed domain, gave it 45 minutes, and then pulled the trigger myself. I'm a domain name junkie, too! I'll get something on this weekend.
